How to play MemeCoop

1. Create a group or join one

Everything happens inside a private group. Whoever creates it becomes its admin and gets an invite code to share with everyone else.

Your friends enter that code when they open the app, and the admin approves each request. You can be in several groups at once —your friends, your roommates, your class— and each has its own leaderboard.

2. Make one meme a day

Every day you get a “hand” of three random templates. Pick one, write your caption in each zone of the editor and post it.

Every template is hand-picked and carefully prepared one by one: each text zone is placed so your meme comes out just right.

There are also template packs that keep getting updated over time, and new packs keep being created.

You have until the round closes, at a time each group chooses (6:00 PM by default). One meme per person per day.

3. Vote on yesterday’s memes

When you open the app, the memes your group posted in the previous round are waiting. Rate them from 1 to 5 stars without knowing who made which: you vote for the meme, not the person.

Give the one that made you laugh the most an “Absolute Cinema”, worth extra points. Your own memes never show up in your vote.

4. See the results

When voting closes, the authors are revealed, the winning meme of the day is crowned and the points go to your group’s leaderboard.

Every month is a season with its own stats: podium, champion and everyone’s numbers. When it ends, it stays in the season history so you can compare one month with another.

And no meme gets lost along the way: they all stay in your group’s history, and you can save the ones you love to your favorites to see them again whenever you like.
